Calculations and shared scenarios

Mortgagez.ca does not require an account or send or store your calculation inputs or results. If you create a shared-scenario link, anyone with the complete link can read the scenario, so share it carefully and do not add personal information.

Essential technical information

When you visit the site, our service providers process limited technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the site and diagnose technical problems. It does not include your calculation inputs, results or shared scenario.

Optional analytics

If you accept optional analytics, our analytics provider processes limited usage information, including pages visited, general browser and device details, approximate country and a pseudonymous session identifier. We use it to understand aggregate traffic and feature usage. Analytics does not receive your calculation inputs, results, shared scenario, name or email address, and we do not use it for advertising, referrals or eligibility decisions.

Your analytics choice and browser storage

Optional analytics is off by default. Your choice is stored in your browser until you change it from Privacy choices in the footer or clear site data. Declining analytics does not limit the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies; a service provider may use a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site.

Service providers and transfers

We use service providers for hosting, site delivery, security and optional analytics. They may process limited technical information in Canada or other jurisdictions. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Retention and safeguards

We keep limited technical information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, then delete it or render it non-identifying. We use safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle.

Your rights and privacy contact

You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you and withdraw analytics consent, subject to applicable law. Because Mortgagez.ca has no accounts and does not link analytics to contact details, we may be unable to associate an analytics record with you.
